The DNC National Convention will bring thousands of delegates to its platform. Hundreds of Muslim delegates will be participating in this exercise. The digital convention will reach out to millions more who will be able to watch the convention from the convenience of their home on Facebook, Youtube and many websites.
American Muslim Democratic Caucus will host its signature event of Gala event at DNC. This will be the fifth consecutive National Convention where AMDC will showcase Muslims in Democratic Party.
Conference Co-Chair Sarwat Hussain in a statement said “Muslims are an integral part of American society, our positive contribution in our economy, our society, our civic institutions and politics is well recognized. We will do everything to help Democrats win for us and all marginalized communities in America”.
